Unit at Loring: 69th BS -- Crew S-10
First Day at Loring: Amazed by my first day in SAC (spent the next 18 years) arriving from B-50s at Mather AFB.
Most Memorable Experience:
Last Day at Loring: Sad -- They converted to B-52s and I went to Carswell with the B-36s (but only for a short time and then to B-52s myself). From there to the 99th at Westover until 1971 (with two short tours at Sondrestrom AB) Left Westover to become Chief of the SATIN 4 Program (a SAC oriented program) at Hanscom.
What did you do after Loring? Finished my 20 career in the AF went on to get my PhD and teach at Lowell University (Massachusetts) and head up the Business Division at Bradford College (Haverhill Mass.)
