Home Town: Punta Gorda Fl.
Unit at Loring: 42 FMS
First Day at Loring: "I remember getting to the Base on a bus it was pretty late, was taking to a barrack where I stayed the night. Next day was a rather long day what with checking in and being shown around the Base. I remember going on the flight line, there was snow every  where, but this particular Hard Stand they were trying something new. Had steam pipes under the pavement  was free of snow and was just wet. Don't think it worked out to well because in the three and a half years I was at Loring I don't remember seeing it again.

Most Memorable Experience: Had Many a good times with good friends and spent many a night at the local watering holes.
Last Day at Loring: Funny I don't remember much of my last day except driving out the main gate and wondering if I would ever get back. Did go back about eight years later.
What did you do after Loring? After leaving Loring I went into the automobile repair business with a good friend for a few years. Later took a job as a Truck Driver till I retired in 2001
