Hometown:  North Reading Ma/Delray Beach Fl

Unit at Loring:  42nd CDS

First day at Loring:

Panic Stricken, did not know anyone had no idea where to go.  Was dropped off bythe bus had to find out where to go,  42nd CDS was still on the main base than.  Remember being roomed with to guys that worked in the orderly room.  It was not a good day, turned out in the long run to be the best base anyone oculd have hoped to be stationed.Nervous, A whole new life starting, Didn't know what to expect.

Most memorable experience:

Could not tell you ny favorite story too many and most very personel.

Last Day at Loring:

It was very hard to leave all my friendss, some I wished a good life because I knew that I would never see or talk to them again in my life time. Which to this day is sad to me.

But I still have many to keep in touch with.  Where I was stationed in Turkey, I could not tell you what one person is doing or has done the cammaraderie existed while there, but when I left no one ever was in contact.  Yes Loring was unique.

If you agree, people can contact you at (email):  cami28@comcast.net
