Home Town: Weymouth, Ma
Unit at Loring: 42nd AMMS
First Day at Loring: Lonely, scared, but also exciting. It was a new world to be conquered.
Most Memorable Experience: Too many and too long ago.
Last Day at Loring: Mixed emotions. I had married a limestone girl, so I now was leaving family and friends behind. Also I was scared to death, I had a wife, a 6 month daughter and a dog and no job, but other than that it was a great day, the first day of the rest of my life.  Which so far has been a great ride.
What did you do after Loring? Gotten old and happy. have 3 grown daughters, 4 grand-sons and 1 grand-daughter. Spent a total of 22 years in the military (mostly reserves), 38 years working at Raytheon and now enjoy being retired.
