Home Town: Rome, NY
Unit at Loring: AMMS
First Day at Loring: Don't remember - too long ago
Most Memorable Experience: Getting caught by the First Sgt. butchering and cooking a deer in the barracks. Needless to say, he wasn't very happy and we spent weeks on barracks "clean up" duty.
Last Day at Loring: Cold and blustery (-40 degrees). I said I would never again live where they had snow, ice and freezing cold. Couldn't wait to get to Walker AFB, NM; my next assignment.
What did you do after Loring? Received my BSEE and worked as an electrical engineer for 2 years. Transferred into electronic component sales and have traveled the world over selling. Currently on assignment in Grand Cayman as Director of Sales. Will retire sometime this year and settle at Lake of the Ozarks, MO
