Jackson, Robert Scott (1969-1970)*

Profile Added: 5/2/2012 7:40:48
Home Town: Detroit
Unit at Loring: 27 FIS
First Day at Loring: My first day at Loring was full of bright eyed wonder since this was my first duty station after leaving tech school.
Most Memorable Experience: Coming form Detroit I had never seen a Moose so a few of us city slickers went hunting for one with a pool stick, hunting knife. This was during the winter so when a buddy of mine hit a low hanging tree branch and the snow fell we all ran like hades out of the area. The next morning I saw my first real moose and it was huge. That is one that will go down in my family history. Daniel Boone I am not.
Last Day at Loring: My departure from Loring was disappointing since I had several run ins with CMSGT Liscomb. He escorted me off the base.
What did you do after Loring? I was a paramedic in Detroit, Michigan for a few years. I received a B. A. in Anthropology and a Masters of Arts in Teaching. I teach the Social Studies at a high school in Detroit. Married with one daughter.
