Home Town: Wescosville,Pa
Unit at Loring: 42nd FMS Propulsion shop
First Day at Loring: scarery, as a A3c i felt this base is way out in the boondocks, but after a few months it was home.
Most Memorable Experience: Watching the B52's taking off, the noise, the smell of jp4, and thinking of the awesome power of the USAF ,thinking i had the job of repairing the pratt& witney J57 engines
Last Day at Loring: sort of sad as you where leaving a lot of your friends, most of the A1C where being transferred to southeast asia.
What did you do after Loring? married have a beautiful wife, two sons one who is former Marine and the other just retired after 22 years in Air Force....I went from jet engine mechanic to working as a switchman for the Contel Phone Co.   Now i'm retired with a great interest in our military, member of VFW post 13, and American Legion post 576
