No Pictures Yet
Home Town: Cumberland, MD
Unit at Loring: 23rd MMS
First Day at Loring: "It was mid October so it hadn't snowed. Yet.
I remember the first person to greet me at the barracks said ""Do you play lead guitar?!?"""
Most Memorable Experience: There wasn't much I liked about the Limestone area but playing music in a band called 'The Population' with some MMS, OMS and Supply guys made the time there a lot more bearable.
Last Day at Loring: "It was mid October so it hadn't snowed. Yet.
I was thrilled to be going someplace WARM."
What did you do after Loring? I left the Air Force after returning from Thailand in '69. Went to a tech school and ended up working in TV production until 2014. Three kids. Three grandkids. Now trying to be retired. Still living in far western Maryland.
