Home Town: Rochester,N.Y.
Unit at Loring: 42nd Trans
First Day at Loring: Totally confusing.Didn't know which direction to go.But, with the help of my supervisor and the friends I made,I figured it all out.
Most Memorable Experience: That's a tough one. Either the time I had to drive our hi-lift truck around Air Force One when Pres. Nixon came to visit or when I got "jacked-up" by the SP's at the ammo dump.
Last Day at Loring: A bit sad,but I was looking forward to a short tour in  Thailand,so that was a bit exciting.
What did you do after Loring? After my tour in Thailand and about a year and a half at Dover, I got discharged and came back to Rochester and Started working as an automotive body and paint tech, which I still do. I joined the AF reserves and retired from that in 2004.
