Hometown: Philadelphia, PA Unit at Loring: 42nd FMS First day at Loring: It was 1971, it is now 2011, I hardly remember. Most memorable experience: It is not so much a favorite story, I just remember driving in a convertible ( with the top down) in the middle of winter with a couple of drunks. Last Day at Loring: Like everyone else, I went through the processing out. I was asked if I would like to reup for another 4 years. What have you done since Loring: I went to school for drafting, worked for the city of Phila. for 5 years. Then I applied for and got a drafting job with the Dept. of the Navy (Willow Grove, PA.) worked there for 14 months, then I got a job with the Dept. of Defense (Phila.,PA.) During that time I became a football official (19 years) officiating mostly high school. I have since retired from both officiating and the Dept of Defense.
