Home Town: Redding, Ca
Unit at Loring: 407 AREFS
First Day at Loring: Arrived in Loring on Nov 2 1974, I was so afraid it was going to be cold, so i wore long underwear from California to Maine, sweated the whole trip. No snow on the ground yet, but big storm a day or two afterwards.  First time in snow in my life.
Most Memorable Experience: We pulled a lot of Alert Tours with other KC-135 and B-52 crewmembers.  Anyone remember the bus stop in the alert facility? Spent hours and hours sitting and learning from other crewmmembers, learned more at the bus stop than college.
Last Day at Loring: Thankful to be out of the winter, looking forward to sunny Ca.
What did you do after Loring? I am a Restaurant General Manager, have a wife and 2 daughters, 20 ands 11
