Home Town: South Webster, Ohio
Unit at Loring: 42 Supply
First Day at Loring: It was March, so the weather was still cold with snow on the ground.  I had driven from Denver, so I was glad to be there.
Most Memorable Experience: Encounters with a moose on at least two occasions. Once in base housing and once on a back road by the Supply Squadron building.  Needless to say, I have a healthy respectful the noble creature.
Last Day at Loring: Nice weather, in June and I was happy to be moving on
What did you do after Loring? Went to two other bases, Chanute and RAF Bentwaters.  Went back to college and obtained degrees in Math and Computer Science.  I have had a successful career within the IT field.  I am now the head of IT for a medical services company in Michigan. I did finish my time up with the USAF reserves out of Wright-Patterson.  Left with 24 years total service.
