Home Town: Melbourne, Fla.
Unit at Loring: 42 AMS
First Day at Loring: Frozen and tired. I drove in after a tour in Guam and stopping off for 30 day leave in Florida. Drove up in late Oct 1977. Snow was already flying.
Most Memorable Experience: Fishing about a hundred miles from the nearest human back in the North Maine woods.  Two game wardens came out of nowhere on horseback in full dress.  Nice guys, just wanted to check my license and give me some advice on fishing the streams.  I showed my military ID and they lit up with a whole bunch of stories about their families and their military history.
Last Day at Loring: Had a mud football game at the squadron picnic. We had a blast.
What did you do after Loring? Finished a 21 yr career in B52 Fire Control and Bomb/Nav for USAF in 93, worked as a DOD contractor since doing all kinds of Acft upgrades on everything. Now work as a KC135 Flt Simulator Tech in Spokane, Wa.
