Hometown:  Buffalo, NY

Unit at Loring:  42nd OMS

First day at Loring:

Rode around the aircraft ramps doing donuts in the snow with a high school buddy of mine who was in Civil Engineering.

Most memorable experience:

Lots of good people making the best of the situation.

RAF Fairford in '85.

Exploring in and around the base on my Quadracer.

Rebuilding the engine in my truck

Mug Night at Keddy's.

Learning airplanes.

Last Day at Loring:

All of my worldly possesions were strapped to the back of my flat-bed Chevy pickup with 3 "surplus" USAF Cargo Straps. I was called out of my out-process briefing to account for the straps. My favorite "Bomber Super" was in the building and said he gave them to me because the were scrap. Thought I was going to jail on my last day in the USAF.......

What did you do after Loring:

17 years at Delta Air Lines in ATL, with several former Loring guys. Worked Base and Line Maintenance and Training Dept teaching the B767

Almost 3 years at UPS in Louisville Kentucky teaching the B767-300F

Currently working for a private 767 operator in Houston TX.
