Hometown:  Hamburg, PA

Unit at Loring:  2192 ISS

First day at Loring:  I was very tired during my first day at Loring. I had driven straight through from Pennsylvania the day before, not completely realizing how big the state of Maine really is.

Most memorable experience:   That's easy. My daughter (and only child) was born at Loring Hospital. I don't know if that qualifies as a favorite story, but it is certainly the most cherished memory I have from being there.

Last Day at Loring:   I was sad to go, as my last day at Loring was also my last day of active duty in the Air Force.

What did you do after Loring: After nearly 9 years of Air Force active duty, I worked another 12 years in information technology for the Navy as a civilian. I currently manage the campus computer network for a private liberal arts college in Pennsylvania.
