Hometown:  Florida

Unit at Loring:  42nd Civil Engineering Squadron

First day at Loring:  OMG!  Being from Brazil I could not understand what the white powder on the ground was, and why was it so cold?  I walked throughout the entire base, and I knew right then and there, that no matter where you find yourself, you've got to make it the place to be, so I did.

Most memorable experience:   When I tried to find my sports car buried in snow.  I clean and scrape for an hour, just to find out I had just cleaned someone else's vehicle.  I did not know where my vehicle was parked, since it was completely buried under the soft powder.

Last Day at Loring:   Sad and yet exciting.  I was heading to Los Angeles Air Force Base, talk about a shock to the system.  Rural to modern, yet no more green, pure air, moose, etc.

What did you do after Loring: Worked for the US Secret Service for quite a few years, then open my own firm in Forensics.
